Jennifer Cochrane
Jennifer is married with three adult children. She has been employed as a Public Health Nurse for many years and works at the Virden Health Unit. Volunteering is an important part of Jennifer’s life. She has served on a number of boards and has been involved with the Virden and Area Food Cupboard since its inception in 2001. Being a part of the Virden and Area Foundation is a welcome opportunity to positively contribute to the community of Virden.

Krista Grieve
Krista has lived in Virden since 2000. She has a Business Administration diploma from Assiniboine College and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Brandon University as well as her CPA designation. She works as a Manager at MNP in Virden. In her spare time she likes to curl, paddle board, bike, and travel. Krista is excited to be able to give back to the community so Virden and area can continue to grow and thrive.

Warren Polk
Warren was born and raised in Virden. He has worked in the oil field for over 35 years. He is married to Carol and have two children. Warren believes that a big part of any community is the ability to volunteer to different organizations that help the community grow.

Laura Wright
Wife of Rick and mother of Danny, Laura moved to Virden in 1980 to begin a 32-year teaching career with Fort la Bosse School Division, first in Elkhorn, then here at VJH. Upon retirement, she wanted to be able to give back to the communities that had provided for her, so Laura began volunteering, most notably with Virden Theatre Productions, the Virden & District Health Auxiliary, the Virden Music and Arts Festival, the AUD Theatre Board and AUD Theatre Restoration Committee. Laura feels honoured to be part of the Virden Area Foundation, and enjoys the challenging and significant work that is done by this group of dedicated community members.

Craig Lane
Craig and his wife Stacey have two kids (Grady and Holly) who both attend the University of Manitoba. Craig recently retired from a 23 year career with Tundra Oil and Gas. Hobbies include reading, Scouting Hockey for the Saskatoon Blades and going to the cabin at Clear Lake.
